CBSA System Outage: 2–3 Day Delay for Shipments (June 4–6)
Published: June 6, 2025
Author: Jay Alagon
Note: The CBSA outage issue has been resolved as of Wednesday, June 11, 2025, all shipments are now being processed normally.
What happened?
The Canada Border Services Agency’s EDI and eManifest systems—both required to clear cross-border packages—went offline on June 4, 2025, and remain down. Because every Canadian shipper relies on these platforms, the outage has halted outbound processing nation-wide.
Parcels are packed and ready but cannot leave our facility until CBSA systems come back online
Expected delay: approximately 2–3 business days
How Shippsy is handling it

What you need to do
Nothing. Your shipment is safe in our warehouse and will resume its journey automatically once CBSA service is restored.
We’ll keep you posted
