As we approach the end of the year, we will be updating our pricing structure to better reflect the costs of bringing various types of goods across the border.

At Shippsy, we're all about making US retailers accessible for Canadians at the lowest possible prices. As we continue to expand our services to more and more people all over Canada, we are slowly realizing that we are outgrowing our current flat-fee pricing model.

For example, bringing back a pack of cards shouldn't cost the same as an 80-pound sofa -- so we're introducing a new dynamic pricing structure that is now based on the weight of your shipment, as indicated on the vendor's postage label.

Our base price remains the same at $6.99 per individual shipment for up to 10 lbs.

• For shipments over 10 lbs, there will be an additional weight fee of $0.35 per pound, up to a max of 100 lbs.
• If you are importing three or more packages on the same day, you get a 25% bulk discount on your entire Shippsy fee (e.g. if importing three shipments on the same day that weigh 2 lbs, 7 lbs and 10 lbs - the total Shippsy fee charged after the bulk discount applied will be $15.73 before tax).

Based on the thousands of shipments we've done over the past year, only 5% of shipments are affected and were over 10 lbs. The vast majority of Shippsy customers will not be impacted by this price change.

Our new pricing will come into effect on Monday, November 22. There is no action required from you, as our system will automatically apply these changes to your account.
