Shop Jellycat from Canada Without the Shipping Hassle
Sold-out styles, unavailable Canadian shipping options, or expensive shipping fees. Frustrating as it may seem, those are what Canadians experience when trying to shop Jellycat from Canada. Luckily, you no longer have to miss out on the bestselling bashful bunnies, amuseables, and limited-edition drops.
Find out exactly why (and where) to purchase Jellycat from US stores. Plus, how to get the orders to Canada quickly and without the usual cross-border headaches.
Why Buy Jellycat Products from US Retailers?
You may be wondering why many Canadian shoppers prefer buying online in the US when building a Jellycat collection, even though it's widely available in Canada. Here's why:
Better Inventory and Exclusive Designs
US retailers often carry a wider selection of Jellycat products because they serve a larger market. That can mean earlier access to new drops, rare designs, seasonal collections, and limited-edition soft toys. All of these are harder to find in Canada.
And when a Jellycat starts trending on TikTok or Instagram, it sells out in Canada way faster than you expect (if it arrives at all).
So, shopping at US retailers gives you a better shot at finding the Jellycats you actually want!
Access to Free US Shipping Offers
If you're worried about the extra shipping fee you'll pay to get those Jellycat orders, you don't have to be. Several major US websites offer free shipping on orders over a specific amount. Frequently, Canadians can't access these offers or face steep shipping costs.
This is where shopping with a US address comes in. By combining your packages, you pay for the cross-border leg of the journey only once, at an affordable shipping rate.
Top US Stores to Buy Jellycat Plushies
Once you're ready to purchase, the next question is where to go. These shops are your best bets for finding available stock:
Official Jellycat US Website. The most reliable source for the complete, up-to-date catalogue. This includes new releases and collections that they don't always distribute in Canada, such as a newer character like Bretti Yetti or the Halloween exclusive Ghost Bob.
Nordstrom. The go-to authorized Jellycat retailer for classic and well-known designs, such as Bashful Bunny from the brand’s iconic line. Nordstrom often bundles its selections with fast-moving seasonal promotions.
Boutique Toy Stockists. Specialty toy merchants often carry rare and discontinued Jellycat stuffed animals. Examples include FAO Schwarz and independent toy stores that ship within the US.
Shop Popular Jellycat Toys
There's a range of Jellycat soft toys for everyone – little ones, older children, and even those who are young at heart!. These fan-favourite characters sell out fast, and we couldn't blame them.
Bashful Beige Bunny
The plush design that started it all: Bashful Beige Bunny! This huggable, oatmeal-coloured stuffed toy has been a bestseller for new-baby gifts, baby showers, and first-birthday presents. She's available in sizes ranging from a small version about the size of a smartphone to an oversized cuddle buddy.
Bartholomew Bear
Bartholomew Bear is a tan teddy that has become one of the brand's most versatile characters. Thanks to his growing wardrobe and love of dressing up, his seasonal outfits now range from sweaters in luxurious fabrics to holiday-themed looks. Because of that, collectors can pick up various versions of the same beloved bear (in different sizes!) throughout the year. You can also dress up together for a twinning moment.
Bashful Rufferty Black & Cream Puppy
Rufferty is a lovable, floppy-eared puppy with a cream coat and rich black accents. Like the other stuffies in the line, he has the signature super-soft fabric and comes in multiple sizes. Put it all together, and Bashful Rufferty Black & Cream Puppy makes a great choice for dog lovers of every age.
And did we mention he's Bartholomew Bear's loyal furry partner? You can buy the pair, gift one to your bestie, and you've got a pretty cute duo.
Fuddlewuddle Dragon
This dutiful, sage green dragon in Medium from the Fuddlewuddle line makes a great companion for both cuddle and play. His playful spiked back and friendly look have made it a cult favourite for those who prefer mythical characters to classic Jellycat plush toys.
Amuseables Avocado
The breakout star of the Amuseables line (and every breakfast table), Avocado! This smiling soft toy has become the brand's most recognizable character due to his green-and-brown colouring and happy face. He has easily captured foodies' hearts as playful home decor and even thoughtful gifts.
Amuseables Avocado comes in Medium, a perfect size for a plushie friend.
Ricky Rain Frog
This amphibian features a rounded body and gloomy expression that sets him apart from the brand's more traditional characters. Ricky Rain Frog is famous among fans looking beyond cuddly bunnies and bears. Plus, his quirky design makes him a standout in any growing collection. Give this medium-sized stuffed animal a reason to smile by taking him home!
Since these styles move fast, checking various US retailers gives you an advantage in snagging one before it's gone. Setting up restock alerts where available is also a smart move.
